Winning Hand
Elation Lights “Ace” World Series Of Poker
Justin Garrone of Innovative Show Design (ISD) drew a “full house” in his stunning
lighting design for the World Series of Poker telecast at the Rio All Suite Hotel
and Casino. The five cards in Garrone’s hand were our Platinum Wash LED Zoom, Design
Wash LED 60, ELAR 108, ELED DW Par 56 and EVLED Video Panel. The Longwood,
Florida lighting designer played our “cards” brilliantly to create a visual experience
worthy of America’s most super-charged poker event. The wrap around effect over the
poker table that Garrone created using the EVLED screens instantly commands attention,
and the Design Wash LEDs in the entrance area ensured that this high-energy TV
presentation got off on the right foot. So deal yourself in and see what Garrone
accomplished by

Band on the Run (And Rise!)
New Acclaim Rebel Band 600 Can Throw Bright Light More Than 300’ High
(But That’s Just The Beginning!)
Meet the Rebel Band 600; the ultra bright LED wall wash that is taking
Acclaim Lighting to new heights – quite literally. Thanks to its 104
high-powered Rebel LEDs, this IP-65 rated indoor/outdoor fixture can

light vertical surfaces that may have been off limits before. Resistant
to wind, dust, rain and all those other nasty outdoor elements, this
dynamic light is just what you had in mind for those big architectural
projects. So look up in the sky… it’s a bird, it’s a plane… no it’s the
new Rebel Band 600 from Acclaim.

Lights Out
Jason Reberski, JR Lighting Design
There is something reassuringly fitting about the fact that both of Jason
Reberski’s parents were in the ophthalmic supply business, selling products
that ultimately helped people see better. As a lighting designer, Jason is
in the business of helping see people see better, more colorful and more
interesting things, whether they’re at a theatrical production or corporate event.
The depth of this Chicago LD’s love of lighting is very evident in his work,
In contrast to many LDs, Jason didn’t get bit by the lighting bug when he went
to a concert in college, he knew he wanted to be designing light shows since he was
seven. Jason lives and breathes lighting, but what does he do when the lights
go out?

Loader On Lighting
“Conquering Space” With Lighting
We guess it was Albert Einstein who got scientists to rethink their old notions of space and time, ultimately ushering in the advances that led to today’s high tech era. Eric Loader, Director of Sales for Elation Professional and Acclaim Lighting, may not be an Einstein (who is?!), but he’s a pretty smart guy. According to Eric, features that have come about in recent years like wireless DMX, remote DMX addressing, homogenized LED color mixing and the like have led LDs and the general public to rethink their ideas about lighting. What does this mean for Elation and its customers?
Read what Eric has to say.
