Renters’ Market New Elation Sub-Portal On Production Exchange Connects Lighting Pros To Rental Products Online “Do you know where I can rent that?” We’ve gotten that question more than a few times from Elation customers looking for a specific fixture for a job. Of course, we’re always happy to sell the light in question, but sometimes it may be a fixture that the LD isn’t going to need very often. Being a service driven company, we always try to help as best we can. Well, now “as best we can” got a whole lot better as Elation has contracted with the Production Exchange to create an online sub-portal that makes it quick and easy for our customers to rent lighting gear from one another. KC and the Sunshine band KC & Sunshine Band Deliver “Platinum Performance” With A Little Help From Elation The legendary KC and the Sunshine Band have over 20 gold and platinum recordings to their credit. Recently, this silky smooth group shined with some “platinum” live performances too, with a little help from the Elation Platinum Spot 5R Pro and Platinum Wash LED Zoom supplied by Mastermind Productions. Lights Out Rick Franke, Illuminate Production Services A close family and deep faith are meant to be held on to. The talented and well-liked LD Rick Franke embodies this principle. A man guided by his solid religious convictions and strong family ties, Franke is eminently at peace with himself. His 12 year old son Caleb is already a budding LD, which speaks volumes about the bond they share. Design Spot 1200C Has All The Right Moves For Studio One Dance Theatre Thanks to our friend Jason Reberski, president of JR Lighting Design, Inc. (Orland Park, IL) for sending this beautiful image of his recent lighting design for a show by Studio One Dance Theatre. After using our Design Spot 1200C for the first time, Jason and the performers at the dance troupe were swept off their feet by the performance of our compact 1200W moving head. The Studio One show is an artfully eclectic mix of different dance styles from ballet to tap – and even hip hop. Right On At InfoComm EPV Video Panels And Platinum Series Connect To Large Crowd In Orlando The lighting area shined brightly at InfoComm this June, and we’re happy to report that the Elation and Acclaim booth was the brightest star in this galaxy. Thanks to its colorful video panel displays, our booth was an instant head turner with show goers – but the attraction was way more than superficial!
