For Pete’s Sake!
Elation Design Wash and
Power Spot
Add Magic To Peter Pan Tour
Peter Pan never grew up, but his stage lighting sure has,
thanks to some help from lighting
designer
Michael Gilliam, Pacific Coast
Entertainment (http://www.pacificcoastentertainment.com)
of Huntington Beach, CA and Elation Professional. Gilliam
and PCE artfully used the Design Wash 1400E , the Power Spot
700 CMY and other Elation products to create a truly magical
effect on the recently launched national tour of the Peter
Pan production. So come with us to Neverland and

FLASH FOTO
Elation Stars In Hair
Give me a head with hair, long beautiful hair…. and a stage with Elation
fixtures. Lighting designer Jason Reberski of JR Lighting Design
http://www.jrlightingdesign.com/ (Orland Park, IL) used 21 ELED TRI PAR 56
units (with LSF Film) and 4 Design Spot 575E moving lights to light the Opening
Night Arts Group’s production of the classic ‘60s musical. “The Elation fixtures
performed beautifully,” Jason wrote us. Check out a future ENEWS for more
details. |

Todd
Roberts, Visions Lighting
Whether it’s at a Super Bowl or a Harry Potter Film world
premier, the work of lighting designer Todd Roberts (Visions
Lighting, Placentia, CA) always seems to turn up at
high-profile glamorous events. We were very proud that
Roberts used Elation fixtures at this LA Rising concert and
for a Coldplay appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Working
with Todd, we asked him to tell us a little bit about his
own life.

Forecasting An Off The Wall Fall
Summer’s over,
school’s back in session, LDI is just around the corner and
after that we head in to the holidays and the new year. We
don’t know about you, but all of this makes Eric Loader
think about the year that’s entering its final quarter and
the one that lies ahead. The Director of Sales for Elation
Professional and Acclaim Lighting likes to do a little
forecasting in the fall, not just about his beloved
University of Southern California Trojans (he always thinks
they’ll go undefeated), but about his lineup of lighting
products. In this interview, Eric talks about the light he
expects to shine bright this fall and beyond.

A Perfect PLASA
We always love to go to the UK, it rocks! But this year was
especially gratifying thanks to the reception Elation
received at PLASA with a jam packed booth – make that
stand—and loads of great comments about the EPV 762 MH
moving head video panels we had overhead. Of course our new
EVCMH LED DMX 512 video camera was one of the most talked
about new products at the show. We’ll have more about that
in a future issue. |
